@stephenjenkins7971 The us should fix their own broken tax system and stop blaming it on countries who's tax system works just fine. Forcing everyone to conform to a certain tax range would kill competition in the global market - competition that has driven markets in the first place.

@stephenjenkins7971 It's in the interest of the US and other tax heavy countries. That's about it. Off topic from the corporate taxes for a moment: since when did taking nealry 40-50% of a persons yearly income normal?

@stephenjenkins7971 Profits a company earns in the US are taxed by the US government. You cant just set up a HQ in a tax haven and save taxes (legally). A business may choose to invest in countries with lower tax rates - and for the US this hurts their tax revenue. So yes, it only helps tax-heavy countries like the US.

The US being it's typical authoritarian self, telling others what to do to benefit themselves. Instead of competing with other countries, they would much rather handicap them by making them follow the us.
