  1. The prices did go down. SpaceX offers the cheapest product. Now let’s say you’re in charge of SpaceX. You offered the cheapest product and were booked to capacity, why would you lower your prices further? The answer is there is no reason, SpaceX is a business and it’s in its interest to charge as high a price as they can while remaining fully booked, putting the excess profits into R&D so they can maintain their competitive advantage. Running a business any other way is just going to end in failure.
