@Love.Cook_Sanji I never said he was more powerful than Congress in full, I said he is more powerful than the singular congressman/woman that represents you

"Law is complicated" That's the biggest problem with the legal system. We are holding people accountable for things they don't understand. It should be simple, transparent, easy to understand, and open to zero ambiguity

I disagree. I see congress as the people’s house, and by that nature if the people like someone enough to vote them in for (how ever long), they are good enough to keep serving.

@davianalaniz1375 because the president isn’t as personal, presidents are picked by the nation and have much more power than congressmen/woman. His roles as the head of the executive branch are much more impactful than a single person in a house of 400+.
6
@Love.Cook_Sanji congress as a whole is more powerful, but a single congressman is not.

No one's saying that, the problem is the temperature McDonald's served their coffees
6
Oh my god. And you vote?

@matthiasnagorski8411 republican voters loved trump, he got 12 million more votes in 2020 than in 2016. I don’t understand what your point is, you’re telling me that republican voters prefer Biden? That’s not remotely true. Biden won because of COVID, the global economic collapse and hardship on everyone’s lives made a lot of people turn away from their current leadership. Despite the states being at fault for the virus getting to the severity it is at, the MSM blamed the president. It was hard for him to lose at that point.

@Provenom100 we're all a cluster of cells.

Depressed or not, murder deserves life.

I find it a bit strange how a jury can just decide how much to award. It seems far too arbitrary
2
@joshuagrahamtheburnedman1814 the president doesn't represent the people. There is no way a single person can represent the values and ideas of 330 million. The representatives in congress represent the people.
2
Agreed. Should apply to civilians as well

Totalitarian is when laws are voted in by a democratically elected legislature
1
Ok, let's go the other way. Abortion is legal, and no child support
1
This is not fascism, it's the opposite of fascism. It's returning the legislation back to the democratically elected governments of each state.
1
There are means written directly into the constitution that allows the government to amend it however they want. I personally don't think it's the business of the Supreme Court to project their own agenda onto the constitution, and to leave the changes up to the democratically elected leaders of our government.
1
Even though it's Alex Jones, I'd never be "for" a lawyer setting their client up.
1
You'll now have to test for STDs to get an insurance coverage
1
There's a very important part of the constitution - the ability to amend it. That's how you change the constitution, you don't get your liberal justices to make up whatever they want.
1
I've got to disagree with the telephone booth case. The horse racing venue shouldn't be responsible for drunk drivers. They don't have control over what the person does

3:50 In some (or most) religions it encourages people to kill others who do not follow their beliefs.
1
But it isn't apart of their coverage.
1
It's not the land to freely kill whoever you want

@110000116699 in their respected districts, they represent their people the most. The president doesn’t represent the people, that’s why they have term limits.

@matthiasnagorski8411 now recently I believe he has lost support from a majority of republican voters. But before all these “election fraud” lies that trump kept spitting out - a majority of supporters saw him as the face of the party going forward. Let’s look at why: - He called out the MSM for their political biases. 79% of republicans do not trust the media. - He cut taxes and cut regulation. - He was tough on illegal immigration - He didn’t start any wars, the first president to not do so in a couple decades. There’s many reasons why he would have support of republicans. The main reason is that he isn’t a typical politician. He’s not George Bush that brought in the terrible Patriot Act. He’s not Obama that brought in Obamacare. He didn’t try to take our guns like Bill Clinton.

The great thing about the United States is the fact that each state more or less legislates itself. Pressure your state representatives into passing laws that protect your "rights", or get them to amend their constitution.

@louderthangod I don't see how this decision hurts Californians.
1
They call them selves pro choice, but I don't see them backing me when I choose to murder them
1
They've been the most objective court in a while
1
@Firgof facts and history? You mean the fact that there is no right to abortion in the Constitution?
