  1. It's very hard, and I know a lot of YouTubers who tried and fucked up. One who did it well was RTgame. Turned from a niche TF2 YouTuber to a gaming YouTuber with 2.5M subs

  2.  @alijah1539  the problem is you pretty much have to either: 1) start fresh 2) make twice the content and slowly merge into a broader audience Both are hard, especially because most YouTubers work full time jobs, have a life, family, mortgage, etc.
