You'd be able to trademark 'X' as a social media company. That won't affect day to day speech, only another entity in a similar business to, well X. So you could even start a restaurant called X and be perfectly fine The Redskins had their trademark revoked for a completely different reason than you described, it was revoked because it was deemed offensive.
