  1. Both autopsy’s said that the officer was the cause of his death. One attributed it to his medical history while the other attributed it - more correctly - to suffocation. Either way he is in jail.

  3. Kuro thats decides by the grand jury. They decide that the officer is or isn’t guilty. Police officers don’t “always get away with it”. It’s just that many killings by police are completely fine. Police have the right to kill a person if said person is a threat to bystanders or the officer themselves. Police also are given a “Ask, Tell, Make” policy, which means that after between big tons to do something an officer can force you physically. Now this isn’t a defence for Derek Chauvin. He will be charged with murder and manslaughter and will hopefully enjoy his stay in prison for the next few decades. Prisoners love cops.
