Would this not threaten Epics own store which also uses exclusivity dealings to hijack the market?

Linux is cheaper, more stable, uses less resources and can be customised to the needs of the user.

@junesuprise they made an example out of him. It’s a disgusting sentence
4
@swdev245 yeah it’s not the architecture, it’s just Intel and AMDs disregard of mobile chips. Now they’re scrambling to deliver much more efficient chips with Strix and Arrow Lake
4
I feel like if it ever got big, the government would step in and shut the whole thing down.
3
The term is truly meaningless now isn’t it
3
And Aaron Swartz
2
Crazy how you can love Jews and immigrants and be called a nazi these days. The term has been made meaningless
2
He co-founded OpenAI and was the largest investor. He believed they were falling behind Google (their only competitor at the time) and pushed to gain majority control over it, which the other founders denied, and then he suggested incorporating it into Tesla. So there’s history there
2
@arxaaron “to cover their tracks” 😂 No they just improved the model. It was awful at following prompts before (but generated amazing images)
2
There's no bailout
1
He amassed 70000k BTC, it would be worth what, like $50 billion today?
1
The biggest problem is selling it, no one wants bitcoin attached to criminal activity
1
I second that, learn python. C# forced you into object oriented programming, which you'll appreciate with time but won't understand yet. Python also has a lot of other nice features that make it nice for new programmers.
1
Makes you wonder if open source is actually sustainable or if it’s just been supported by the insane tech boom
1
I don’t see the appeal of non-typed languages. Just don’t be lazy and assign a type
1
Yeah
1
Why would he move to France of all places?
1
Languages are all pretty similar, except for the weird ones
1
Their speed is what’s impressive. Built a data centre with 100k H100 GPUs in 120 days, and now doubling that in a targeted 90 days. That’s unheard of Then using that to develop a world leading model less than 2 years since they were founded.
1
VS is slow. VS Code is much nicer unless you really need the features that come with full VS (you don't)
1
I use Access in my CS class
1
I find it's type system is really ugly. C# cleaned that up a lot
1
UE would be so much better if it STUCK WITH THE INDUSTRY STANDARD NAMING SCHEME WE ARE ALL USED TO, and let you code through text
1
People thing x86 vs ARM vs RISC-V is important. It isn’t. It’s just that x86 is locked to Intel and AMD, the former which purposely stopped innovating because they had market dominance. That’s why RISC-V is probably going to be the future. The more open the more competition
1
@BernardoLeon yeah looks like it, click on his profile and see his comment history
1
GitHub copilot or the garbage Microsoft packages with Windows?
1
I mean if you use it, it’s pretty true. It has no problem criticising Elon, let alone anyone else. Other models often censor if you ask it whether someone is good or bad.
1
2:45 Yeah, 500% returns if: - you don't include transaction fees or bid-ask spreads - you don't include taxes - you don't care about liquidity risk (most of the returns were from very low volume stocks The trading strategy isn't even novel, and other algorithms have been more effective at pulling it off
1
All crypto transactions are public. And almost all exchanges require your ID to access.
1
It's a very good VR headset, the best standalone headset and has one of the best passthroughs as of yet. It's probably the first one of it's kind of device that's actually usable - but it leaves a lot to be desired
1
@chonkusdonkus yeah I'm going to listen to the CEO of Meta tell me the Meta Quest has better passthrough when literally every reviewer has said otherwise
1
@chonkusdonkus agreed a lot of reviews have been shit, most of the earlier ones came from Apple affiliates so are obviously biased and most of them have never used VR before. I'm not talking about those though.
1
All of which didn’t exist before crypto
1
o3 isn’t coming out for like 5 months. Maybe they will push up timelines and release an interim product. But by that time Grok 4 will be here
1
That would destroy the company. I like that they’re going for profit. It’s also necessary if they want to survive
1
PHP developer detected

CBS just did a segment following German police as they raid someone’s home over a Facebook meme.
1
Nothing makes it in Europe, it’s over regulated to sh*t
1
@Pleaowl Germany tries to make entire political parties illegal and send armed police units to raid people over Facebook posts.
1
Competition breeds innovation.
1
The sort of nazi that demonetised a number of anti-Israel and anti-immigration accounts
1
Haha 😂
1
I’d wait until GPT-5 to say for sure. At the moment I’d say no, just companies haven’t attempted to take that next leap
1
Reddit users don't give a shit about the API changes. There's been many polls which voted very heavily in favour of calling off the "strike", yet the mods continue to keep the server down Reddit needs to instate new mods and fix this mess
1
Yes he’s a real person 😂
1
Other big LLMs are way too censored. It’s not nonsense to market your product as less censored.
1
I just asked that, and it drew Joe Biden. But also that’s not using Grok, Grok doesn’t natively generate images yet. It relies on Aurora
1
I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of my confirmation bias
1
That is the first YouTube premium sponsorship I've ever seen, why doesn't YouTube do more?
