Your body might produce cholesterol, but the proteins, vitamins and minerals of meat far make up for it. Just wondering, how many professional world record athletes eat vegan? I can list 10 that eat meat, the proteins meat provides is unchallenged.

  12. Hare Say meat is a lot cheaper to make, a whole chicken cooked costs $5 where I live, where as a vegan chicken (which is under half the size) costs over twice. My guess is how chicken is grown, it is very efficient. Being humane is another question, but we must remember: they aren’t humans and aren’t capable of the thinking or emotions we have. So do they even notice? Or is it easier as the food is given right to them.

  20. No they weren’t, not the same amount and not the same type. Back then they were just killed off by consumers, we take that a step further by perfecting means of mating and feeding to improve their size and to produce more of them. We don’t kill off livestock.
