Pyramid schemes make the participant pay, with the offers that they will get more money from recruiting others to do the exact same thing. MLM’s sell a product, and when you refer someone to that product you make money. There actually something tangible. Either way both are bad to get into. Some companies use MLM’s as a small bonus, like OneDrives referral bonuses getting you a free 5 gigabytes simply for someone creating a feed account.
