It’s all nice and dandy when you can piggyback off of other countries medical spending, military, ect. Maybe the us should do less for other countries and start doing more for itself.

In the us you probably would have insurance or Medicaid cover it. If not, we’ll that’s your fault really.

Demos Ioannou you can’t compare a poorer country’s healthcare costs to the us. The us has much higher quality of care, doctors are paid more, and the income of the individual is higher and thus costs are higher. And for insurance it depends. For an individual comes to around $7000 a year, and a family around $13000.

Demos Ioannou I wasn’t trying to insult you, but it’s a fact. In richer countries healthcare costs more because of the quality of care and doctor wages. The median wage in Cyprus is far lower than that of the US, and thus prices for goods and services are lower. Anyway, in the us your uncle would be covered by insurance. He wouldn’t have to worry about the costs.
