  1. Not true at all. The US has systems for people who are poor. But healthcare isn’t a right, it’s a commodity. When you go and see a duct it, that’s the doctors time and any costs of drugs, ect, that you must compensate for.

  2.  @Bringon-dw8dx  you are right, access to healthcare is a right. Doctors cannot turn you away if you have a life threatening illness. But the healthcare itself is a commodity.

  3.  @peterforden5917  join the army and you will get lifelong benefits. The only drawback is that it’s government run healthcare - so as per usual it’s low quality and has horrendous waiting times

  5. It’s never “free”, it’s just paid for by taxes than you don’t see.

  6.  @NickHobbs  when you buy drugs, it’s subsidised by taxes. So you may pay $10, but behind the scenes the government is paying $20. Overall the drug would cost $30, but you don’t see that.
