  1. National security is not a waste of money. Actually it’s more like world security. The US is allies with dozens of countries, and occupied over 51 countries worldwide, providing military support and financial aid to the country. By cutting its spending, not only will it make the US fall behind, it will mean all of these countries will be left to fend for themselves... ultimately meaning the US could be a target. These relationships are win-win scenarios.

  2. The us military compensates you in other ways, medical bills, housing, ect. Plus you don’t pay a cent while you are on duty
