It doesn't seem consumer ready with the clearly fragile fan system. Also if you rely on the fan for cornering and the fan fails, you're basically dead.

Germany was producing large amounts of synthetic fuel during WW2 actually.

The fuel is over double the price to conventional gas so nobody will want to use it in reality unless they manage to push the price down considerably.

EQC beats all of them by price and comfort. After my current A4 quattro 40tdi I just don't want another Audi really. The ownership experience has been pretty horrible with the jerky gearbox, vibrating boomy engine at 70-90km/h and cabin filling with smoke on hard snow conditions. Maybe I'm spoiled driving i6, v6 and v8 Mercedeses before.

I recently tested all of these except the BMW which I don't want for image reasons. The Audi is definitely the most boring of the bunch. The Volvo XC40 was the most positive surprise. But I ended up ordering the EQC. I just love the Mercedes comfort.

@rudy4986 This thing may be attractive to someone as a toy but a motorcycle would be as fast but more practical than this noisy 1 person 'car'.

It's a game changer because it's a Nissan that can now break in even more ways than before!

I'm a 2 decade merc lover and I have to say that when I was offered a 5-series BMW as a service loaner I was intrigued. But I found out that I hated every kilometer I drove in it. My son was young at the time and he actually started to cry when I joked to him that I changed cars lol.

@FlaxOFF More like 5 decades in reality.

@erik9108 Not unless fusion power suddenly becomes available as the process consumes large amounts of electricity

The BMW has a serious image issue also. All the younger generation consider BMW drivers as idiots and I have to say it kind of reflects on daily driving on the road.

@sukeshamuthu I missed the redundancy part, he just said there one on each side.

@tusharbhatia5437 Of course they're more practical lol. This thing is a total gimmick, nobody's going to drive it on public roads wearing a helmet and listening to that noise. Getting in and out alone is so cumbersome that after the novelty factor wears out, it will be a garage queen.

@hemingwaybromfield3722 Try it on any public road and you'll find out you'll choose a motorcycle 10 times out of 10 instead of this laughable contraption. If it was a track only car for super rich, fine. But if it's targeted for public roads... ROFL

On the other hand if you don't have autobahns and are limited to 120km/h it makes zero difference.
1
I've driven the A4 quattro 2020 for 3 years now and I've grown to dislike Audi. I prefer Mercedes all day. And BMW has such a negative brand image that I would never buy one. The test was not fair because the BMW in the test was way more expensive than the competition.
1
The BMW was way overpriced in comparison and when you dive one you get to be subject to jokes like 'what's common with a condom and a BMW' :D
