  1. It looks like someone serviced this car against the instructions and put mineral oil in it. MB diesels require a special low soot engine oil and of course, oil changes at minimum the service intervals.

  2. My son took my Subaru to the dealership for a recall and I had the oil changed by them at the same time. When he returned I checked the oil, it was a full quart short. Nothing catched the dipstick.
