  1.  @rodgersvalkyrie2379  During the attack phase of the continuation war, the only time the finnish troops were stopped attacking was when they reached the alcohol factory :D Coincidentally the same happened in Ukraine when russian troops found liquor stores. The invasion could probably be stopped by just placing barrels of vodka on the border.

  4. Remember when three decades ago "experts" were promoting the sea as the "easy solution" for the food shortage problem. Then 20 years later the same "experts" were complaining about overfishing and extinction of species.

  5.  @dustinstewart1194  That's what my doctor told me on inspection. All jokes aside, I've gobbled loads of salt and fat, lived against all recommendations and my arteries are clean like on a young boy (I'm 50). Never did any sports in my life...

  6. I always use vinegar in my soups also. I didn't quite understand what point there was to waste valuable pocket salt in the soup when he just spent hours removing salt from the salt pork. It would be more practical to leave the salt pork salty and then boil it. Salt will ooze out and pocket salt is saved.

  7. In the olden days people ate butter and died happy at 60. Nowadays people eat margarine and suffer with cancer for 20 years after 60. Who was the smart one?
