I agree. The extent and depth of abusive tactics such as the FBI Cointelpro operation of the 70's have expanded beyond comprehension. The "deep state" truly exists at many levels of governents and organizations. It may be too late to examine this conduct and planned for the near future. Here are a few ideas. UAV"S are defined as military weapon systems. They are operational in the USA even in absence of a national military conflict. Under what explicit authority? Military and Intelligence assets have been used in the CONUS and it is doubtful that the other branches of government have been explicitly notified. (The old "neeed to know" game). All I can suggest is that we NOT assume that these approaches are NOT operational. Each of us must be diligent and vigilant to protect our own freedom as individuals. IMHO The principle that of "groups" can represent our needs or that goverment by and for the people has been lost. Try research on keywords "persistent surveillance" and "pre-crime" and be amused or perplexed.

Living Soul 144 Not exactly. Yes it may be pernicious but the motivation may be different. The book " The Age of Surveillance Capitalism" ( 2019) is a good source of information. This was written by Emeriti Professor of Business at Harvard University Professor Shoshana Zuboff. It is 750 pages of goodness and 125 pages of academic references. It looks like the game is over for privacy in ther USA. Subsequent to this publication many milestones in Artificial Intelligence have been met. Read the book to be more informed on the topic. This is NOT mere speculation or armchair conversation. Do you own a smartphone? smart TV? iOT? Do you know about WiFi triangulation chips? Lets start there? Do you watch broadcast or cable television? The condition represented by the book "1984" was 36 years ago! It is time to wake up and smell the coffee. One key is individual privacy. These are interesting definitions, but you have not included "organized" individual stalking. I am speaking about forensic or "legal stalking" aka " sub rosa" or under the rose. Your description of observing and following is partially correct but it is not always by " the (one) stalker" being physically present. This sub rosa activity can be continual or continuous for many years 24/7/365. With electronic social media today it is not required to be physically present at all times. Your inclusion of "contact, calling, texting, email" is poorly defined in this regard.. During a sub rosa investigation, the target is rarely contacted directly unless it is a type of legal pretextual contact. Also it is usually agreed by legal counsel (civil and administrative laws and not criminal laws where most anything goes) to not DIRECTLY encourage the target to engage in certain activities: Note the exemption of "allegations of potential crimes". In other words, an associate of the target could legally be contacted with lets say 2-3 Free seats at a major sporting event. if the target somehow gets invited by the associate - roommate, romantic partner or other person to accompany them ( where they no longer use a cane or wheel chair to root for their favorite team or players. it may be legally permissible in most legal venues. Yes, that can be defined as a "contact" but by whom? and for what purpose? Sub rosa investigators are careful to never get "picked" by the target. They can get "picked" frequently usually by people who THINK they are targets. Usually others who are involved in some other activity that they do not want discovered ( A lot of stuff is going on out there. Drugs extramarital affairs etc) The result, is other individuals replace the investigator. I have seen over a dozen different investigators on one sub rosa assigment. When does this occur? Pre employment investigations, insurance investigations, lawsuits and legal matters of all types, (Insurance applications. claims and witnesses), bank investigations, loan investiagtions, workers compensation, welfare benefits, school districts ( assure proper district residence), domestic investigations, corporate, governmental, medicare, physicians, counselors chiropractors, political and many judicial matters including child custody. In any medium or larger size city there can be literally hundreds of these sub rosa investigations conducted on any day! The point is there is NO repository LIST of investigations for obvious reasons. At times, local police agencies might be notified but what if THEY are the targets (happens all the time especially fake workers compensation or insurance claims). “Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't after you.” quote from Joseph Heller Catch-22.

@jo-annebotha9609 Good points. A few of my assignents had billings over $45,000 and some over $100,000! It can be very expensive until now. I can do work today for $1,000 that would have cost me $10,000 a few years ago. Surveillance costs are rapidly dropping! Thanks to a "collect it all" attitude by Big Tech and Ai. Wait until Quantum computers are available! The cost will be nil.

@She_McGee Thats an interesting story. How about this one? I was on a covert sub rosa assignment and I always study the area carefully before going "on point". I noticed a suspicious vehicle that looked like it was on a surveillance operation in the target area, so I watched that. Ha ha it was a federal vehicle ( van) but had an ironic Non Exempt plate ( looks like a non government lic plate) . What was the plate number "2 FBI 007" True story! (two agents on assignment). I have seen WiFi SSID's emitting from surveillance vehicles "FBI Surveillance Van" Some tech in the "radio shop" set this up to help idiots in the field connect their gear. Do you want to be paranoid for a long time? I have a hint that will keep your mind busy. Notice the street lights in your area. Many have been replaced with LED lamps. Look on the top surface and notice a small plastic bubble usually blue, white, brown or beige colored. It looks like a small Hockey puck. Yup embedded inside are covert network cameras powered by the same supply as the LED luminaire. These contain the photocell On Off switch for the lights but can contain a micro D/N HD camera. Tens of thousands are in operation daily. A van or suv is no longer required. Sit back and watch from anywhere. Don't look for a van, look for a street light. How do they get there? The module has a Quick release screw on and off that can be placed in about 30 seconds one you use a boom truck to reach it. Usually at night or in darkness. Have fun. You will never NOT be paranoid now.

My experience is different in that instead of observing and recording specially designed mice, rats (Sprague- Dawleys) and rabbits in a laboratory for changes in behavior, I observe and record humans at 10X the income. What me worry? Philosophers, psychologists and politicians do the exact same work that I do and can control public opinion. Philosophy, Psychology and Politics is NOT MY JOB. I am doing my job and they can do their jobs. Each of us must have the responsibility of our own freedom and peace and not defer this important task to others. I suggest following the idea of MYOB = "Mind Your Own Business" for freedom, peace and success in YOUR life. Now, don't you feel better already? @trulyunbroken7548 I have conducted thousands of investigations. I am assessing reality when I make my observations and that is what I report. Most people have no idea how much real surveillance exists! This is not merely paranoia or fantasy. Not only physical surveillance but the elecronic collection of metadata can actually reveal much more about a target than by interviews and physical surveillance. My background is in laboratory research following the scientific method. We were always concerned about research grants and publications,. There is much higher income earned by studying the behavior of humans instead of laboratory animals. On a side note a typical insurance claim pays much less than the contract requires but this is not ilelgal and actually required by most state laws ie Defend and prevent insurance fraud is the legal pretext. In my studies I found only about 7.5% intentional fraud which is significant above the .05 level but it is no where near the 25% fraud touted in the media. Governments ( all branches) as well as legal venues direct most of this work. One Law school professor advised me that there is ONLY ONE RULE of law that is controlling. "She who has the GOLD makes the Rules". I found this to be accurate and seems to oppose the myth of fair judicial systems. I offer a reference to a recent academic publication book that is not just based on anecotal observations. Read "The Age of Surveillance Capitalism ( 2019) " 750 pages with over 125 pages of references by Emerti Professor of Business at Harvard University Dr Shoshana Zuboff. It is an excellent read but even though ti was printed recently the technology involved has virtually exploded. I do not believe it is possible for countries in the west to recapture any levels of privacy known in the past. it is too late!

@jerryjamify I don't know or have experience with actions that you describe, but I can corroborate that some investigators may cross the line and violate the law. In some cases I have heard of "heavy shadowing" which involves physical surveillance with poor tradecraft that purposefully allows the target to observe the observer. This can ruin an otherwise good sub rosa activity. One result is emotional stress on the target manifested by unpredictable behavior including walking driving and communicating. If what you say is going on it sounds objectionable and not professional. Most of this "low quality work is most likely involved with criminal law and some large Tort cases. I am reminded of the experiences of Ralph Nader and his reports.

Surveillance used to be very costly. Today the cost is low but you suggested what i found was the real reason for all surveillance: Power Control and even Abuse by using a legal pretext. No one should have this ability including myself. Most of us live our lives oblivious to the machinations of our trusted institutions. Do we fight against them or just "go with the flow" and pretend they do not exist? You have Good insight into a serious problem that confronts us all. Study the new research on "Pre crime" and Ai.

I understand your concern but there is a difference between actual undercover investigations and the TI experience than many endure. One problem remains that can never be known is which events are purposeful legitimate and which ones are delusional. It could happen to anyone. Speculate how an LEO detective must worry about never knowing when "they" are a target of an insurance or other investigation for which they are not aware? My experience is that LEO's and attorneys are less difficult to observe on these cases even though they think they "know" how these operations are conducted. My advice is no lies, exaggerations, no insurance or disability claims, avoid "office politics" and likely no worries.

I recall one time I was on a sub rosa investigation and detected an attempt by other investigators to "stalk" me while I was "stalking" an insurance claimant. It was not paranoia but I learned that the origibal investigators lost a large insurance company contarct on my assigned case, and were trying to figure out how one investigator ( me) was able to collect so much information and video recordings in a short period of time. BTW I "won" in that I had video of the other investigators as they were trying to observe who and where was watching the claimant AND them simultaneously. Very humorous SPy vs Spy Vs SPy. I was using remote surveillance and lots of "toys" that I developed. The other investigators had rented as large Utility truck ( 3 Ton) and had it painted to look exactly like the local company truck and even wore fake "look a like" uniforms as well as a second truck in similar livery also used as a stake out vehicle. I had close up video of these amateurs as well as the claimant all while being located blocks away from the area using my remote cameras. Just like Mad magazines Spy vs Spy Vs Spy. Lots of fun. @trulyunbroken7548 There are literally thousands of insurance, employment or forensic investigations occurring at any time. At times new investigators who have poor surveillance skills are detected. The result is that investigators are switched to a more experienced investigator usually after a short "cooling off" period for the target. Sub rosa investigations are supposed to be completed without any awareness or detection by the target(s) of the investigation. Any activity that is created ( by the target) as a result of the detection may adversely affect the objective results and is strongly avoided. A lazy investigator might engage in "heavy shadowing" which is highly unprofessional. In these instances the investigator uses sloppy field craft which intentionally allows others to learn of the surveillance. I have observed that this is with mostly local local LEO's who have limited direct field experience ( Less than 2,000 hours).

These are employees at all levels who are there for themselves #1. The mission, objectives, laws and regulations are all abused, massaged and redefined for their own personal needs. Is there a simple test or instrument to evaluate them as being egocentric deep staters? Yes, I look for a high level of achievement motivation and listen carefully to their language. Soon the secret is out. These people do not have this interest even if they can be capable of being productive ( it is all spelled out in their SF 171 application ) -- me, me me and more embellishments stacked to the roof. Drain the swamp is a goal all executive directors should promote. One strike and you are out!

I have been involved in thousands of investigations and doubt that any subject was aware. It is all about protecting monetary assets and the cost is more money. Investigations are very time consuming and expensive. Attorneys usually make my assignments and they make triple my hourly fee.

This is in agreement with my assertions. Many "gang stalking" situations may be to poorly informed and poorly skilled investigators. Many of these are LEO's who think they have more skills than they actually do. I have worked insurance investigations of single individuals for many years ( at excellent pay) and the only thing they knew was that their claims were denied, delayed or minimized. I work like a surgeon or engineer and no emotions are involved. It is like observing lab animals in their world and nothing more. One result is that rarely does the "target" ever knows exactly what is the reality of the situation. Most investigators never carry anything that could be defined as a weapon and never use microphones to remain legal according to stalking laws.
