The laser technique can not penetrate opaque surfaces so Ku band Microwave signals at high intensity are effective. This method can be countered using NSA TEMPEST and EMSEC requirements. Using a broadband microwave spectrum Analyzers ( DC to light) at the location would measure any emissions if present. NLJD ( Non Linear Junction Detector) instruments can be used to survey the area of concern. High energy Infrasonic audio signals can harm humans but can cause more damage to buildings.
