  1. Yes Glenn, but I have identified a more serious flaw with the way Donald Trump selects his leaders. Years ago I observed that on the TV series "The Apprentice" that serious errors were used in identifying and selecting "The Apprentice" in each show. His selection criteria was not based on selecting only a highly productive performer, but included attributes and personal characteristics shared by Sociopaths, Psychopaths and those who shared the elements of the "Dark Triad" ( Psychopathy, Narcissism, and Macchiavellianism). His TV show hiring games closely resembled the "Assessment Centers" used to develop and select Commanders of the German Military before World War I. IMHO These table top skits and exercises are an excellent way to encourage an organizational natural selection to select in and for Apprentice show candidates who have these Dark Triad capabilities. One result is that many of the people that he selected have an interest and motivation to backstabbing the selecting offcial. He needs a team that has the same goals, not a team of selfish backstabbers. I see additional organizational problems if he continues to use these same selection criteria in the future. The weekly "winner" for these old shows was able to get support from competitors while being simultaneously extremely competitive and at the same time "The good guy" who was not caught in any behavior that showed he was not trustworthy. This is not a trait that I think is important for these important government positions. Yes large organizations can be like a swamp, but a swamp of alligators and snakes that was selected to be in that political swamp is more difficult to control. A regular swamp is bad enough. The legal rights of the Excepted Civil Service positions which he makes gives more power to more vipers in the swamp.
