  1. Can you consider sarcasm as an indicator of divorce? Sarcasm!! In action or in words is as corrosive as acid is to anything. This bitter nastiness can start against others and will soon be directed to YOU. Ask yourself, who or where is the audience to this sarcasm? It is not for the partners benefit but only a lame attempt at getting attention, control and one domination through humiliating another. Sarcasm can start out innocent but can quickly get out of control and target the closest people around. Properly defined and used, Sarcasm can work for a stand up comedian but who wants all this abuse. I see sarcasm as "passive-aggressive " behavior at the minimum. It is NOT funny to pitch these spears of pain at your partner! Why deal with this abuse? Jerry Seinfeld is funny on stage, but imagine the humiliation of being the butt of this attempt at humor every day?
