  1. Thanks for your update on gambling machine networking "possibility" ( most high limit jackpot machines). I have friends in the gambling industry and do not gamble, especially with slot machines ie "One armed bandits". It is the LOSERS who are responsible for the magnificent, ostentatious, multi-story, super casinos, and not the "winners". It is well known to insiders, that the worst thing that can happen to a first time casino guest is to win a jackpot. After that "first jackpot" it is all downhill with "luck".

I have posted here before, but it seems that my knowledge, skills and experience investigating literally thousands of legitimate claims by insurance carriers does not meet these posting standards? With a few exceptions that are too complex and convoluted to explain here, the typical insurance company or TPA response to a claim that they do not want to pay can be summed up in three simple words. 1) Deny 2) Delay 3) Minimize. Under the McCarran Ferguson Act of 1947, 15 USC CHAP 20 of the 70th Congress exempts the business of insurance from Federal regulation. One result is that each state has its own laws concerning the business of insurance. The Insurance Directors of each state are usually selected by the Governor or elected by the voters based on the laws of each state or territory. Presently, the only method to bring honesty to the business of insurance has been via civil lawsuits using the Tort of Bad Faith. There are many other legal ways available but the insurance and Financial busienss sector lobbyists and legal counsel and Law Professors have informed me that 1) "They ( Insurance and bank firms) have more money than God" and 2) The Golden Rule of Law is " She who has the Gold , makes the Rules".

  3. Steve, your insurance auto theft denial anecdote at 10' is typical. FYI Did you know that alleged thefts of EV's is much higher once the battery loses its energy? EV battery replacement is very EXPENSIVE and many beleive that one of the reasons for the included exterior Tesla cameras is to deter predictable future claims of theft for that same reason?

  5. It is interesting to read your comments at minute 4:06. When you call your insurance compnay to ask about your policy, your policy will be flagged for either policy "updates", premium increases or underwriting cancellation of ANY existing policies. This is a "fact" within the insurance business that it has been statistically demonstrated that there is a higher likelihood of a claim (legitimate or suspicious) filed within X weeks or months after an inquiry by the insured. The prevailing attitude witihin insurance carriers is that once premium dollars are received, it is now "MY MONEY" and with few exceptions any money that is paid on claims is like "stealing oney" from the our company.
