  1. One solution for buying a house is hybrid. Buy a house with a maximum 5, 10 or 15 year mortgage. The mortgage interest is less than 30 years. The banks get their biggest profit in the first years of a mortgage. It all depend on your ability to focus on reducing the profits of the mortgage company. They don't think you can do it so they don't care. My last deals had less than a ten year mortgage. You aren't starving but any additional income goes directly to pay off principal. It adds up fast. In California, the minimum fast food wages are $20/hr. Two people both working an additional 40 hr fast food job ( Do you want fries with this order?) can bring in another $41,600 per year. The feeling of NO DEBTS can only be understood when you achieve it. There is nothing to lose and everything to gain.

  2. One error many make in trying to describe the homeless is by thinking it has anything to do with "affordability". Most of these "homeless" are interested in only getting stuff FREE, with no work. There are many government programs that will pay disability benefits to those "victims" using drugs or alcohol which "prevents" them from seeking employment. Why should they work when they get so many benefits freeloading, begging or stealing? Most shopping carts they convert to "housing" are stolen. Where did they "buy" the shopping carts? The "tents" and the fact that most of them have the latest smartphones?
