Three Hundred Gigabytes! Bloody hell. Did this attorney graduate from law school? Pass the state bar exams? Unbelievable! This is embarrassing to all.

In a criminal court proceeding. What will happen to a prosecuting attorney for 1) Manufacturing evidence? 2) Refusing to allow the defense to have witnesses? 3) Suborn perjury by witnesses? 4) Coaching a "secret" witness ( the so-called "whistle blower)? 5) Introducing material that is not probative about the case. There can be no objection by the defense in this proceeding. 6) The question of "rights advisement"? 7) The use of illegally obtained information ( illegal FISA warrants 17 times) for political purposes. Note: In a civil tort case, I would "love" to be part of a defense team VS "team Legal Eagle" ! Have you ever been a plaintiff counsel in a real case? I see a "slam dunk" for the defense with NO compromises and never ending "investigations" of the plaintiff.

If Alex Jones counsel was so poor, does he have an effective defense that his attorney was ineffective counsel? Why did his counsel go this far to permit Alex as a witness? He does not look good as a witness. Too much coughing and nervousness. He looks nervous. Not Good! Side comment: Do you recall when President Clinton testified under oath to the Grand Jury: “It depends on what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is. If the—if he—if ‘is’ means is and never has been, that is not—that is one thing. If it means there is none, that was a completely true statement." Okay LegalEagle, President Clinton used the word "is" in his sentence requesting the definition and meaning of the word "is" which he used in his response. IMHO Alex is a TERRIBLE witness! Did his ego get in the way and not understand what his performance would look like NOT on TV or internet but in a court room with cross examination? Very sad. Very, very, sad uninformed and unprepared counsel. I would not hire this attorney to fight a parking ticket. He is NOT a Melvin Belli or F. Lee Bailey " I knew the glove would not fit!" ( I tried it and it did not fit me).

I understand your legal perspective. Most Americans know of at least one employee who not only brags about doing nothing in their position but also embellishes on the many benefits. There are many ways to dislodge federal government employees without violating their many labor rights. Executive branch employees have many benefits that other employees do not have. Most all of these rights are conferred via Presidential Executive Orders. The Merit System Protection Board and the Office of Special Counsel as well as the Office of Personnel Management are controlled by these Executive Orders. Just start rescinding these Executive Orders until the non essential, lazy and/or non productive employees voluntarily resign. Reorganization is the legal method that strikes at the heart of lazy or incompetent employees. More than a few workers can be reassigned from bicycling around searching for spotted owls in austere mountain retreats to taking temperature measurements of "global warming" with a simple glass thermometer in the nice fresh air of the Sonora desert. A nice job for a pencil pushing GS-13.

Please explain the legal reason for the FBI SAIC request that all security cameras be turned off? Is it customary to take thirty FBI agents 9 hours to remove 12 boxes of documents from the basement? Did the search warrant specifically list the personal clothing of Melania Trump? Why was a selected news media informed of the search warrant before the warrant was executed? Both PBS and NPR were reporting on this before the search. What is the legal reason to inform selected news media about the search? Financial records in Melania's wardrobe? Is Melania also a target? What happens WHEN he inventory of items seized is incorrect ( items added from a different source, or items taken but listed). When this occurs is it a crime? Why aren't these events prosecuted (demonstrated instances of manufacturing evidence and theft)?

@MultiClassGeek Thank you! I visited the lawyers webpages and he looks like he has the experience and knowledge but IMHO his actions do not appear to be the work of a competent attorney. I hear that there are many fast food jobs that are available. Do you want fries with that? LOL

Is it Mr. Trump or is it his use of the AC or Assessment Center to evaluate his employees? When I first viewed the old TV show series "The Apprentice" it was disgusting! Many executives believe that Assessment Centers strongly support three traits of the Dark Triad personality disorder. These "Centers" are excellent at selection of Narcissists, Psychopaths and Machiavelian personality types all of who use back stabbing as one of their weapons for success. In my View Assessment Centers select against those who are NOT Narcissists and Psychopaths. Centers can be useful in selecting productive ( no sales - no income) first line salesmen on commission. In this manner alleged white collar crimes can be blamed on the "I am just a salesman- I know nothing about the product or service" excuse. All considered as sales volumes and profits increase. Fire the "bad" salesman and continue the crimes.

1) Executive branch agencies act like they are autonomous. Their policies are directed from within and must not rely only on the direction of the office of the President. From the perspective of a Career government employee , their primary concern is local agency policy and informal organization rather than the temporary presence of an "intruder" (POTUS) regardless of political party or popularity. Under the laws embodied in 5 USC , the legal requirements provide for protection and rights for employees greater than the requirements to follow the laws. One result for all services is the question: Are you here for me? or am I here for your? There is nothing written in Federal Personnel regulations that requires government employees to be diligent, productive , produce quality work or care about anything except pay and benefits. One result is the tendency for 5 USC employees to have a greater control over the administration of the laws than Congress intended. Failure to enforce the laws on immigration which resulted in the current situation is one result. 2) You brought up the subject of HIPAA. In daily practice, HIPAA regulations provide a legal framework of loopholes to access rather than protect sensitive private health information . Most computer databases are physically located external to CONUS and can be freely accessed in other countries that are not required to abide by USA Privacy laws. Is the mere asking a question or making an indiscreet inquiry in a different country illegal? No!

I know attorneys who bill more hours than exist in a week.

Can you give us information/examples about misconduct ( ABA Rule 2.9 Ex Parte communications) by a trial judge and an attorney representing a client before the court? I believe this is more common than not! Whisper whisper "you say this and I say that". Been there watched that several times. ( court hallways, restrooms, parking lot, church, law forums and events) I both observed and overheard within a short distance ( 10 feet). Nothing happens to the judge After it is reported why?

I looked up this attorney and found he worked for Appeals court Judge Alarcon ( a RINO). A former political appointment by former California Governor Jerry Brown. When asked why he (Alarcon) was selected he replied "...diversity.." That is all one needs to know. Today the former governor lives with his "beard" in retirement.
