Three questions for you: I have an opportunity to buy 400 Troy ounces of 999.9 Gold with no premium charge. What value would this have to me if there is a US banking collapse? Is there an advantage of purchasing 400 ounces of Gold bullion ( 99.9% coins) instead to be used as a potential trade medium after the banks collapse? 3) If you respond that there is an advantage to owning Gold metal bullion, why would anyone want my fiat FRN currency to trade for their Gold for FRN's which are inflating and losing value every day? If I had the Gold I would never sell it if I believed there will be a banking crash. Fast food cheeseburgers could soon will be selling at $20 for a teeny tiny 1 oz of pink mystery meat on a bun made from plastic? From .19 each to $6.00 today. Note: I plan to drill the Gold pieces to assure they are not adulterated with Tungsten with almost the same density.
