I have been homeless a few times and am now a 1 percenter. I earned my way out by being PRODUCTIVE and RESPONSIBLE instead of a burden. I do not shed ONE little tear for them. How can they be "embarrassed" to defecate in front of others on a public sidewalk? Like animals?

What method do you recommend to prevent the "homeless" from attacking Paying customers of the MTA? I was disabled (broken bones) after an attack by the so-called "homeless". How is that handled? MTA has a whole department just to handle complaints from injured customers. How about preventing injuries from the "homeless", vagrants, pickpockets, thieves, robbers and the "street people" who defecate and urinate on the stairwells and walkways?

My investments were poor choices so I ended up homeless a few times. I had no problems working to have more freedom from debt and government overreach. I found that unless you are an insider stay out of the US stock markets. I did save lots of money on rent and eating expenses while homeless. Free meals everywhere.

You got that right sir! In my neighborhood of about 30 houses we solved the issue of crimes and homeless by buying our own street. Our street is exactly one mile long. Each end of the street requires that you use your card to open the typically closed and locked gates. We have our own private police department since each of us has been deputized as well as armed. The local fire department is complete with the latest equipment and is run by volunteers. Each of us know everyone and that closes the community even more. It harkens an idea used in small communities 100 years ago with no income taxes, property taxes and nosy government workers pretending to work each dfay. No crimes here! We don't miss the public transportation and own a small private airport that can handle small jets. We do not miss the rainbow crowd, gangs and other miscreants. Can you imagine what would happened in a prosecution if any of us was a witness to a local crime? Lock them up for 20 years at hard labor or bus them to "Frisco", California where they can be with their friends.

In my experience as a homeless person , very few of them want to take responsibility or accountability for anyting including their mental and physical health. Most of them service by extracting attention, free services and income ( SSDI, and many other payment systems, clothing, food, social guilt, and virtue signaling). I have a rheorical question for you. Why is it that the "homeless" can travel thousands of miles at no cost to arrive at population centers with huge social services including free transportation, clothing, food, mental and social health services, money, unearned benefits? You will not find the "homeless" in areas of low population densities and difficult environmental locations such as desert areas, arctic and antarctic areas. How did that happen?

I have done my own objective investigation of the homeless. There are many reasons for "homeless" people. hint: I have been homeless myself a few times and each time I am better offthan than I was before. I learned that the Number One factor of the "Mode" level of "homeless" is lack of productivity. Productivity can be defined in many ways. But generally the homeless (Mode group only) enjoy being Non productive at most anything they do. One time when I was almost broke but not yet homeless, I asked a prominent Law Professor about the "job market". We see these fatuous questions from the media every day. He replied with an answer which explaines Most of this. At first I was pissed off and thought he was bellicose and rude, but I tested his reply and learned a few valuable life lessons. Here is what he said: Jobs are EVERYWHERE you can see. What? He was referring about REAL work that MUST be done by someone. The word "work" does not mean "job". ALL work must be done but it is not necessarily the same as a job. Most supervisors and anyone who needs something done. DO NOT TRUST someone who is in a "job" as a worker. Why?: Two reasons: 1) They over promise and under produce. 2) They charge much higher than the real cost of the work to be done. If you as a human can help someone else and REALLY be productive. That person will keep asking you for more help. For the same 2 reasons above. I quit my "high paid" managerial position to work with my hands and now have more income, less taxes and musch more real freedom. Was I tarined in a tarde? No. I started by cleaning up paper from parking lots. I also learned that if you are healthy why are you only working 8 hours per day? I can work 2, 3, 4 even 5 jobs in one day for different people. I do NOT advertise. The happy people come looking for me to get THE JOB DONE correctly the way that they want. I am very busy. I am now a top 1% er in annual income. So why the fear of success? I only seel the WORK that I have already done. I have NEVER been cheated. Beacuse most workers are lousy and have low productivity. No tears for any homeless unless they are severely disabled and in a hospital. Hospitals needs floors to be cleaned., @Dimetropteryx

I have been homeless ie no renting, no roommates, no structure you would call a building. A few times I broke into an empty apartment to keep out of th rain, but left as soon as the rain stopped. I learned to shop lift for food and learned how to keep out of the way. I also learned how to earn money by working any job I could find. I now own my own ranch and live in a house that I built. Am, I a "victim" ? Do I have "house" privilege? If I can do it, anyone can do it. I have learned a few lessons. If you are sleeping you are losing an opportunity to work. I try to work as many jobs as I can.

Actually I am living on a ranch that has beautiful blue sky and fluffy white clouds and No: Homeless, crimes, dopers, freaks, begging, grafitti, public transportation, welfare offices, sidewalks, attractants for bums and thieves and our own volunteer citizens to help one another as "witnesses". The population density is very low so we all know each other. We quickly notice strangers, guests and visitors and we have private LPR scanners that identify every plate and vehicle that wanders into the area. Guess what? no reports of crime. No garage sales allowed. The streets are so narrow that no parking is available on any public street even for a bicycle. The flora and fauna is abundant except no human derelects, vagrants, thieves, gangs, loiterers, criminals or homeless. There is no safe way to bicycle or walk in here. No needle exchanges around here! We have our own network to alert each other for "problems". No honey traps but plenty of ravenous and possibly dangerous wild animals. I forgot that there are no apartments or rental units anywhere. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Quiet Freedom with the occasional sounds of sport target practice. @brialapoint2608

Did you discover feces and urine on the sidewalk or benches? In San Francisco crews use high power steam guns to remove the disease laden fecal materials, urine and trash each morning. It starts at 5 AM until dawn. Why not let the stench remain?

I have taught many but most still do not want to work in a real job. How much does a broom cost how about a dustpan? shovel? work gloves? There you go. All they have to do is clean up their own mess, garbage and detritus. Walk over to the next homeless in a stolen shopping cart and help them clean up their mess. If they are productive, they will soon have more business than they know what to do with. The "Homeless" is a booming market for brooms and shovels. I am not an employee and have not had that unfortunate experience for over ten years. I am also quite lazy and only invest a few weeks per year thinking about money . My active or earned income is less than 50% of the poverty level. But I am living a healthy enjoyable life investing in myself. The primary benefit of not having any debts is FREEDOM. I say what I want to say and can never be fired for "insubordination" or fired for not being at work "on time", for not wearing a face diaper, not getting the jab and other nonsense. I am probably much more productive in my "non work" than many government employees who get salaries, benefits and pensions pretending to work. Never a "victim". I have been there and many there are criminal, evil, selfish and greedy. A tiny bit of accountability ad responsibility should be REQUIRED for these human adults. Fine, You embrace the polluted, unhealthy, and dangerous world that the homeless "children of the earth" produce and I will enjoy the Non polluted, safe world that I reside which is NOT in the cities. I can use a telescope and NO Homeless here. They wouldn't survive a day out here. Life is toeasy for them. Look at some of the old videos of the Typical American during the Great Depression or the Dust Bowl years. They worked were responsible and survived. Did they give a million Excuses? No! Get a Job! McDonalds hiring at $20/hr to say "Do you want fries with this order?". @dathorndike4908

It starts with doing any work that someone, anyone, will pay to have done rather than do the job themselves. You do not need companies and organizations to work for. Baby sitting and pet sitting are occupations that can be lucrative, but only if you are productive and save others money and or time. @markp911

Yes! Good process. Why reward negative behavior by encouraging it. (pooping on the sidewalk, needle exchange, free narcotic drugs, permission to destroy, commit arson or steal property and commit violent crimes aganist children with a "hands off" law enforcement policy. What would they do if transported to the Arctic, SIberia or the Peoples Republic of China?

Housing is never free. If you have a source of income ( job, welfare, unemployment, disability for being a drug addict or alcoholic) and spend your money on tattoos, dope, booze, video games, Lottery tickets, gambling, restaurants, smartphones,cable tv, internet, tobacco perhaps you should reevaluate your priorities. The real problem is much much larger than just "homeless" folks. One out of eight of us has a low intelligence score of 85 or less. These people do not know how to tie a shoe. The problem is not just dope, booze and laziness. 1/8th of all us are defined as idiots and are doing our best to survive. The military is not legally allowed to induct new soldiers who have a difficulty understanding the differences between the right foot from the left foot. What kinds of jobs could they perform? Watching paint dry?

Yes, I alreay have done that. A few have worked productively and being responsible people they are now enjoying the luxury they have built for themselves. Here is a way that 90% of the homeless can improve their lives. I bought push brooms, work gloves, dust pans and a shovel. That is all the tools that you need to clean up the mess that YOU have made. Start by cleaning up your tent/shopping cart / bench and placing it into a trash receptacle. Once you finish this job you can go visit your homeless neighbors and teach each one of them how to clean up their own mess, trash, garbage, poop, used or discarded needles etc. Just Wash Rinse and Repeat this and soon you will discover that someone might actually pay you money to clean up your own garbage! As you save money you can visit a local dicount market and buy some rags and paint remover and try scrubbing and removing the graffiti that is everywhere you can see. You have enough business to keep you happy.

Home? What's that? My home is where I live! One of the unspoken problems about "homeless" or jobless" is that there is no law that says you must be an employee! Each of the homeless can see jobs in every direction. The problem they have is will the job pay them any money? Will the job pay benefits like sick leave, vacations, lunch breaks coffee breaks, workers compensation, Social Security, Medicare, SSI, SDI, pensions? nope! The money you earn is what someone else is willing to pay you to do the work. There are billions of jobs out there. Are you looking for a cushy do nothing government job, or do you actually want to be productive and get something useful done? I have worked from the age of 12 and yes I have made bad investments and ended up homeless, jobless, and assetless, more than a few times. 5% years was my longest stretch but when I caught up I was doing very well in just a few months. I do no fill out job applications or have resume's or CV's. When you are REALLY productive everyone (including governments- some of them also need to have something completed quickly and under budget) notices. People will line up begging you to work for them!! Try it! It doesn't matter what you skin color, creed, ethnicity or gender. Be Productive at Everything that you do. Oh Yes! This is my strategy for success. I have few market investments and some bond investments, but my largest investment is in real estate. I have lost money in stocks and bonds and played that game too long. The only winners were the brokers and banks. Today my income is less than a fast food worker. But my assets are not minimal . I never need to work again as an employee. I have been homeless a few time because of poor investment decisions and learned some lessons about life. It all starts about understanding what each of us is working for. Money in the USA is actually an IOU representing debt to a Federal Reserve bank. In other words money is not backed by anything with tangible value. Not Gold and not Silver. Money only has the value that the Federal Reserve banks says it has. Houses have many values and also has costs. Can I afford the costs witout getting a loan? Yes! As a result, I voluntarily Do not work as an employee and have no active sources of income. Whew! I do hire tax and real estate attorneys for their expertise and knowledge. If I need a lot of cash I sell a house that I own. I never allow guests, visitors or tenants on any of my properties. Why? Guests, visitors and tenants can have more rights to my properties than me. I am not a Buy Low and Sell High house flipper with tenants paying my mortgages. Instead, Buy and Hold and rarely sell is my strategy. In this way I found REAL FREEDOM. No one can force me to wear a mask, take a shot that has not been tested, or not talk about the fact that my dogs have no problem figuring out who is the boy dog and who is the girl dog. There are no LatinX dogs or Dogs of Color "representing themselves" as nonbinary cats to try to shame me for anti Dogism. Not a victim and those who are whining about being broke and in debt: What were YOUR decisions about money that put you where you are now? Are you lazy and unmotivated? You must be responsible for your own lives. IMHO " Homeless People Matter" only onto themselves. You made the mess that you live in. Try cleaning up YOUR own mess?

Did you ever wonder how a "homeless" person who want buy their own food, pay rent, know how to use a toilet can get the $200/ day to pay for their daily dope, with free needles from the government? If you visit a hardware store spray paints are running $9/ can. So where do the hundreds of cans of spray paint come from that are sprayed all over the areas where the "homeless" live? Thousanms of dollars of Graffiti paint from homeless--And tens of thousands more to remove it ? @duckpwnd

I have been homeless several times, and each time I learned and survived to improve myself and my standard of living. I continue refuse to accept handouts and government support. I learned a few valuable lessons but when I report what I learned few people will adjust their ideas of survival and living. Lesson #1) Never assume a "job" is "below" you, as long as it pays something ( including below minimum wage). I will frequently start working on work that I see must be done. Yes not "boss" no HR department, no applications. no "benefits". What is the result? Owners and supervisors get excited when they see a worker be productive that they offer me money to keep working. One owner paid me $125/hr just to have me work for him, with no "boss", no meetings, no HR, no benefits, no breaks, sick leave, no uniform or equipment, and no evaluations! I worked for that company in "secret" along real employees just because I gave NO EXCUSES and kept my mouth shut. That gig lasted 24 months. You figure it out. Who decided the pay? Me. They wanted to start me off on "probation" at minimum wage. I said NO, and it took them two months in legal to figure out how to pay me. If I can do this anyone can. Today the person who hired me ( real top level career) is now out of work and living in a trailer. Do I feel sorry for him? No.

I have been homeless many times but I never considered that I was a victim of anyone else but my by my own poor decisions . That is the difference. It is called accountability and responsibility which I own. I now have the freedom that many "victims" do not have. No debts and no worries.

Thats what we do in our area! NO sidewalks! Sidewalks encourage vagrants, vandals, thieves. Also NO buses or public transportation. We also have a special treat for loud motorcycles or trucks! Narrow roadway with a deep ditch along the edge of the road. This discourages strangers and "lost" travelers from this area. The local Sheriff is 30 minutes away so S&W protects us from outsiders. Guess what? ZERO "homeless" beggars or thieves. Each property is fenced and all driveways are gated. How about that! Less government "services" and NO crime. I pay each "employee-worker" cash daily and only if they were productive. The hour they are not productive is the last time they work for me. As long as each gets no more than $400/day and show me a written note that they are a company, no unemployment and no workers compensation scams left to try. You work and make me a profit I pay you well. As soon as a worker costs me more money than they make me its time to part ways. I am not a government agency that pays solely for the color of their skin or gender . No DEI baloney here. Make me more money or time for a vacation.

Or it could motivate many of them to think about what their dangerous behavior does to others and take some responsibility for their own health. I have been homeless a few times and quickly bounce back without receiving any "services". This is why I bounced back. Now I have no debts and live on my own ranch. If I can do it anyone can. I am eligible for Social Security and medical benefits but refuse these handouts that mainly served to hire lazy government employees for their needs only.
