As someone who’s lived 19 years with those thoughts now & counting: we all have to go anyway, so ending it “early” doesn’t seem too worth it when I can’t even guarantee I survive the next 24 hours anyway It’s only hastening the inevitable so🤷‍♂️ I’ll stick around while I can. And find little pockets of happiness where I can, like making my nieces & nephews laugh, or teaching young people not to make the same mistakes I did
