The Shah tortured civilians with his precious “SAVAK” police, who were created through the help of Mossad & the CIA Kindly educate yourself before repeating this nonsense

I am against anybody who jails & tortures political opponents. So that includes both this Shah and the current “Supreme Leader”
15
The Shah tortured artists & writers through his “SAVAK” police; kindly educate yourself about him first
9
@jason4275 Amen The crimes of their current religious regime does not magically erase the crimes of this “Shah” and his goons
6
@nostalgia545 He also tortured & murdered artists, writers etc. who made the fatal mistake of … criticizing his government publicly 🙄
6
@sasanshamsuldini3213 Evil is evil. Whether 70 years ago, today, or 70 years from now. If you’re admitting the Shah was no better than any other country which jails & tortures political prisoners, then you just proved my point for me. So thank you
5
Which “sponsored terrorism” are you talking about?
5
@corn bread So that justifies torturing political opponents? You sound unhinged
5
Odds are if Iranis speak their native language, there’s a 95% chance it’s “Farsi”
4
Decades of Western meddling & embargoes didn’t help matters, either
4
@nostalgia545 There were plenty of victims, such as Vida Tabrizi or Reza Baraheni. They never “threatened the life” of anybody, stop lying And once again: even IF some hypothetical prisoners turned out to be violent, there is no justification whatsoever for torturing them regardless in any civilized society. Your excuses remain pathetic
4
@squidguard4743 I think you replied to the wrong person here :)
3
“Patriot” my foot: he tortured political prisoners via his secret SAVAK police. He was just your typical crook, with a hunger to try seeming superhuman The current regime is also twisted, but that does not somehow magically justify the Shah’s depravity whatsoever
3
@jason4275 That’s entirely subjective, depending upon who’s speaking and how. For example, here is a recitation in Arabic of a very well-known prayer from the “Twelver Shi’a” school of Islam. Hopefully you’ll agree the Arabic there is quite different from what you might hear on say, corporate news: https://youtu.be/VUG3blrOT8k
2
@marmary5555 Really? Vida Tabrizi was “dangerous”? Reza Baraheni was “dangerous”? Please don’t make me laugh
2
@alfredbiroute4719 Wrong. The direct involvement of people like Norman Schwarzkopf is a matter of public record now, freely available for anybody to search up regarding the formation of SAVAK. Nice try buddy, but your BS ends here
2
He tortured political opponents via his secret SAVAK police. He wasn’t a “divine” anything
2
@pyroflamin9378 Whatever, you know what I obviously meant
1
@nostalgia545 Well then you’re just hilariously ignorant. Whether it was West-planned coups back then or civilian-crushing sanctions/embargoes today, the massive role outside forces have in ruining the state of Iran is undeniable
1
@sasanshamsuldini3213 “Whatever decision you make” for people?? We’re talking about the act of TORTURING AND KILLING your critics, you absolute imbecile. Not choosing the wrong venue for your employees’ Christmas party As for your final spiel of “The ends justify the means”, I’ll just let the rancid stench of that comment speak for itself
1
All monarchy is absurd to begin with. And the Shah had the secret police called “SAVAK” who tortured civilians, courtesy of Mossad & the CIA; look it up some time
1
The Shah maintained a secret police called “SAVAK”, who tortured & killed so many people that even Jimmy Carter condemned its actions in the ‘70s Please educate yourself first, before spouting any more of your ignorance
1
@aryanmaher336 There were writers & poets imprisoned and tortured simply for criticizing the Shah’s so-called “White Revolution”. This torment included strapping heavy weights from victims’ genitals, boiling water down their rectums, using live snakes against women in particular, and so on. But nice try Not to mention even AGAINST potential criminals, torture is still in violation of humanitarian laws all over the civilized world. It’s time for you to stop repeating the regime’s pathetic lies; your precious Shah is dirt now, and his legacy is exposed for all decent human beings to spit upon for the rest of time
1
@aryanmaher336 … you literally just equated SAVAK with the CIA, who were caught arming death-squads in South America, illegally inducing drowning on prisoners at their various blacksites (which yes, is barbaric behavior regardless of whether Americans are behind it), and EVEN BACKING THE COUP IRAN ITSELF WAS A VICTIM OF. Do you have no shame as an Irani, you want foreign countries to use your forehead as a doormat for the rest of your life?? As for Mossad, whom you also equated SAVAK with … do you have any idea how many Palestinians have been assassinated in purely political reprisal once Israel was unsuccessful in stealing those specific plots of land? Or how many of your OWN Irani countrymen have been killed by Mossad, and you’re such a pathetic citizen you have no problem with a Shah whose methods mirror Mossad’s today?
1
@aryanmaher336 Imagine pathetically comparing yourself to ancient Persia but also remaining the doormat of previous “agreements” at the same time 😂 Either you’re independently powerful or you’re someone else’s whipping boy. Take your pick buddy, you can’t be both. And I don’t think ancient Persians were “honoring previous agreements” from anyone, so your time-traveling fantasy is a complete joke It’s time to grow up. Stop trying to relive eras you weren’t even a part of, simply by doubling-down on accident of birth
1
@aryanmaher336 Again: your wimpy cosplay of the “Persian Empire” involves running like a castrated dog to obey signed scraps of paper? Can you even hear yourself? 😆 And yeah, I don’t worship any of my genetics or culture, because they’re meaningless & arbitrary. All I care about are morals & struggle, maybe you should fix your priorities some time
1
@nostalgia545 Exactly. He was just as worthless as any other money-grubbing “monarchy”
