  4.  @Blazerelf  my original comment was ambiguous. Evil is an accusation. Evil is something one person projects onto another. No individual ever (ok maybe a tiny number of mentally ill) has personally identified as evil. Every single person ever believes they arent evil and they personally do the right thing. This is why beliefs arent a reason to act. People need to understand their responsibility to outcomes and objective reality, which does exists. People need to be held to account for outcomes and not their "good intentions".... Becauses all intentions are "good intentions", even the evil ones.

In fact all humans are absolute dogshit at theorizing and updating their theories. This is why humans need the scientific method. The scientific method seems so trivial, but de facto out of reach. And within this context, peoples "beliefs" are simply dangerous.

  8.  @Hereford1642  the fuck i dont. Its called the scientific method. The problem with beliefs is there is no barrier to entry. "Belief" is a euphemism for "an excuse". Its an excuse to not put in the work. Its an excuse to claim superiority over others. Its an excuse to deflect responsibility when your beliefs lead directly to shit outcomes. Its a barrier to admitting that youre wrong. Otherwise your "belief" would be a hypothesis. But hey, you believe whatever dumb shit you want. Thats what this country is about. Then at least youll have the OP give you credit for acting on your stupidest available beliefs.
