  1. Americans shouldnt be going in the first place. Theres nothing there but politics. Artemis is just trumps vanity project. The manned missions to the moon are too expensive relative to robotic exploration. I miss the days of better faster cheaper.

  2. Russian civilian space program gave up a long long time ago. It is only failure if they quit. And russia quit their civilian space program. There are no fumes left from the ussr to coast on anymore.

  3. You dont have to guess or speculate. the statistics are pretty clear that spacex falcon 9 is extraordinarily reliable and spacex forms the backbone of all american launch services. They are at least 2 full iterations ahead of any other competitor. The rocket youre referring to was a test. The test gathered data and its not unreasonable to believe that launch system will be the future of spaceflight for several decades.
