  2. If you like pacino im not here to change your mind. Penn just shows a lot more range here. Pacino by comparison plays the same actor in pretty much every film hes in.

  4.  @RW77777777  this movie is one of my favorites. If you like anything you see in this clip this film is a must watch. Its got so much going. The acting. The pace. The consistency. The depth of an otherwise cliche story. Its somewhat lost today, but i recommend checking it out 100%.

  9.  @k-asp3r754  yes. Really. Im glad people pacino but that love obscures some pretty uncomfortable facts about pacinos acting. Exhibit A. Compare pacinos hoffa from the irishman to jack in "hoffa". Or dont. I dont want to ruin pacino for anyone.

I dont know dicraprio is over rated or under rated as an actor. Are you saying that jack nicholson is in a different league than pacino? Because i think its a good comparison. Except one is over rated. I want to empahsize that pacinos body of work is excellent. But here in this specific conversation, peoples love of al pacino hides the fact that sean penn was a better actor in this movie.
