  1. What worries me more than AI in music is the reflex to drag the government in to enforce personal taste. It may be 2025, but the state still relies on the same blunt tool it did 5,000 years ago—violence. The only difference is that the violence is now delivered at the end of gun barrels instead of spears. Calling on that force to reserve music to only those who won the genetic lottery of having a “naturally” appealing, is far more dystopian than letting AI-generated voices exist alongside them.
