  1. Germany went out of its way to be reliant on Russian gas. They even axed pipelines from the middle east because they didn't want to anger Russia. None of that was "American policies" it was German.

It's not America's fault Russia couldn't stop its puppet from getting kicked out of power. A sphere of influence is not bestowed from the heavens, it's taken through force. America is not responsible for maintaining Russia's sphere of influence. Russia wanted to keep Ukraine as a colony, and it continuously chose to pay the price required for that. Nobody forced Russia to send tanks and troops into Ukraine, that was a decision it made to assert its influence. And if Russia is no longer willing or able to bear the costs of that strategy, it shouldn't expect to keep its influence—it's as straightforward as that.
