Poland just announced they will pay 2 billion dollars to have the U.S. place a permanent base in their country, and sanctions have only increased under trump. Whereas under Obama the missile defense system we had stationed in Poland was pulled out. Meanwhile under Trump we're also selling weapons to Ukraine to fight off the Russians, something which Obama had not been willing to do. Added to that Trump has also kicked out more Russian diplomats than any other president in U.S. history. And for the cherry on top, Trump has authorized the arming of Kurdish forces in Syria and provided them with more direct security and military backing through special forces and air support. And as a result, they have taken a 1/3 of Syria, including almost all of it's oil and gas, preventing Russia and there puppet state run by Assad from gaining influence over the region and control of its resources. And what happened when 500 of Assad's and Putin's forces tried to take back the oil fields under Trump, they were vaporized by the U.S. military, killing 200 Russians (NY Times). Face it, even the most pro-Russian Republican President is still tougher on Russia than Obama was.
