For anyone watching this, C is not that scary everyone make a big deal about it, but truthfully C is very bare bone there is not much that the language provide you. Some of the most basic things like transforming a piece of text (aka string) to a number (aka integer) is not included so you'll have to code it yourself, but this is how you'll learn. And when you'll pick up a new programming language you'll have such a better understanding of what's going on. It'll give you such a good perspective and is definitely gonna help in the long run.

I code in Zig, LLM's don't know Zig, I use Helix, helix doesn't have an LLM integration. I'm good.

i think the best strategy right now to overcome the AI overtaking your job in the next 5 years, is to find a niche and try your hardest to become proficient in that niche. There's a lot of "easy" programming job that will be replaced quickly by AI, like front-end for example, but if your in a niche like idk risk-V embedded, or your really proficient in a language that not a lot of people uses, or your really good in a specific domain of programming, i think you'll last a lot more than if you just go in the industry with just a JavaScript/Html/CSS stack.

@PersonOfBook well sorry for the poor choice of word what i meant was that if you were to draw a bell curve representing the distribution of complexity related to a field. on average front-end would require less "hard-skills" than other fields, therefore on average it would be easier to be replaced if you are part of that average/below average end of the spectrum. I didn't mean to insult the job of front-end. Because I'm positive that depending on the project sometimes it is really really hard. I really mean on average.
