@ShadowDragon1848 you couldn’t be more wrong, Russia is an economically stronger country then the US in some aspects they have low debt, lot of ressources and more of it become available as the climate goes warmer. In term of diplomatic relations and intelligence even if russia is nowhere near it’s capability back in the URSS days it still got a lot of strong ground connection to the middle east and a lot of wester countries to like there’s a lot more time then we want to admit where it’s actually Russian operative helping western intelligence in some part of the middle east. Beside Russia has some strong alliances with china etc. And from their military power in my opinion they are far more dangerous than we want to admit it the fact is that a lot of western countries have reduced they’re active duty’s personal and tried to replace them by more advanced technologies witch is good imo. The problem is that (and a lot of specialists and think tank are saying that) in a global conflict perspective (without nuclear bombing involved) it will most likely be the country with the greatest capabilities of sustainability and disposability in terms of production of vehicles, weaponry, aircraft etc that will win bc the advanced high en military vehicles will most likely be destruct in the beginning of the war and since they are so complexe it’s actually a better strategy to have simple yet efficient vehicles that you don’t mind losing
