  1. I think there is tutorial and tutorial, I'm currently writing a compiler, guess what I do when I'm too tired ? I watch people coding compilers like Jblow on jai, or whatever, I've watched ton of videos on the subject and the next day I'm fresh and full of ideas of where I want to go. Tutorials, books, udemy course are just the basis for self taught, like sure I could read documentation for 300 years, but why can't I just watch a tutorial and try to apply the stuff for my project ? how is this killing my growth ? I think this sort of take apply to people watching tutorials and not applying the knowledge but that has nothing to do with tutorials, and more to do with the way the person is working.
