  1. Really don't understand why they went with Rust for the Kernel, makes zero sense. Just wait a few years for Zig, ask your people to come and contribute. Start using Zig's toolchain for now. But really I don't understand why they went with Rust, I mean it's a fantastic language, but just not for kernel stuff.

  2. ​ @shinobuoshino5066  Windows use C++ in their kernel, Which is the only argument I'll provide to prove you wrong. (although I agree with the second option, but you'd be mad to even think about using C++ in something as critical as the linux kernel).
