It was Russia who stood strong by india's favor and stopped them all.USA and Uk were already destroying vietnam and they brought back their fleets from Vietnam to kill india but Russia stopped them with their powerful 7 fleet soviet ships..From one side they also warned the chienese from attacking india...Ever since then Russia became india's major friend..Russia will not interfere into domestic issues unlike usa.....Russia is India's natural friend...USA, though a democracy they came to attack a strong democracy in india...Also in the 90's they kept aiding pakistan despite they knew they supported terror against india. Plus USA imposed sanctions on india for nukes but they allowed pakistan develop their nukes plus they gave free aid to war planes and missiles to pakistan in the name of war against terror despite they knew they were using those arsenals against india.......Thats why india never trust USA. Even in the past during barack obama they gave free money aid to pakistan to fight terror but they used it against india...Meantime Russia always stood by our side! always! India-russia are childhood friends!
