That's true. But Russia is sanctioned and cornered to such a extent they are forced to depend on China. Indias geographical location makes it hard that we cannot afford to piss Russia at this moment while we already have 2 front war in the border. We don't want Russia help China there. We just want them stay out. So we need to keep russias ego cool. India fought all wars from 1949 till 1999 all alone without any external help. We can defend our own like we did before. All we need is Russia stay away from helping our adversaries. And that they will do. That's all we need. So we cannot afford to piss Russia. Moreover US is like there is no assurance from US. India doesnt like anybody poke nose into internal affairs. Still usa is doing recently again since 2021. Considering all these issues we cannot afford to piss Russia. Geopolitics have changed but we have 70% russian weapons which we are replacing it, it will take 10 years to replace it all with indigenous weapons. Until then we cant piss Russia. To trust US is very hard even if is based on geopolitics. See the first day in 2021 US send war ships against India in indias eez. Like chameleon US will change color. Russia is not like this the way US does. Russia on the other hand, despite China pressed them not to sell s400 to India they ignored china and sold it of to India. Also they even slowed down the chinas s400 equipment sales during indo china stand off in 2019 to reduce chances of conflict see this is a true friend. It is showing that Russia is willing to cross their limits and help but situation is not allowing them because they are forced to depend on China. India sees here Russia's intention ( that they wish to do something in favor of India but situation/ sanctions pushed them close to China though they dont wish to see India in trouble something like that). India recently started to indegenous defense whereas Turkey started way back but still India is producing more better tech airforce fighter jets cheaper rate cost effective battle tanks than Turkey. india is also started drone manufacture which I'm sure we will be ahead of Turkey also in the coming years. As for saudi Arabia that's purely trade business. India is buying oil from Saudi so there is a trade deficit. New weapons recently being manufactured in India, India is making more cheaper weapons with superior tech than Turkey vs Turkey saudi may show common interst in religion but religion will not work out well in geopolitical issues saudi benifits more from India thanTurkey so it is all about making money. And in return India is looking to remove trade deficit. so if saudi cannot cooperate with India in area of trade deficit then they will lose an oil import partner ie India. India is their 3rd largest oil buyer. Plus indias indegenous defense programs is going good much better than Turkey in terms of quality and cost wise cheaper. so it is more likely that saudi "could" purchase Indian defense than purchase from Turkey rather then relying on Muslim brotherhood. the way saudi us moving ahead i dont think they are looking forward for muslim brotherhood over development. Also saudi turkish relations are not so well.
