For a country like India going self reliant will be wise to get out of rcep kind of trade otherwise all junk Chinese goods will become dumped into india. This India rejected chinese offer. @modernmogli5155 rcep is trade manufacturing goods. We all know China manufactures more goods. So for any nation who is going self reliant for first time will not be good to join rcep kind of business deal. Because if you join such a trade then your nation will become a place to dump foreign goods. India took the right decision by not joining rcep.

@ronnylim7907 Somewhere around 11 to 14 days ago China asked India to join rcep. It is renewal offer because last before last time china asked India join rcep was in 2019.
