@Trollge398 they need China more against west. Because it serves their geopolical interst. You can do business with USA and join quad and all but they should not listen to China is what kind of logic? See it's all about geopolitics and intersts. Nothing to do with personal friendship and all. Russia & india were once having too many common interst so now both the nation are trying hard to keep the old geopolitical ally in hand and try and find out new areas of common interest despite the areas of common intersts are diverging.

@Trollge398 1962 India Russia did not have any area of common interst. Still it is because of Russia only the west sent navy to India. There is recorded conversation of the then Soviet leader slammed Mao for invading India. Then after that the Soviet journal published "it is because of indias mistake by doing business with west the Chinese invaded India and now their so called western allies did not help during the Chinese invasion" this journal report provoked the feelings of USA. Only after this the US issued warning to China to step out within 3 days or the usaf will intervene..then only the Chinese went out. Thus there also Russia played key role indirectly despite india did not open any areas of common interst with Russia.

@Trollge398 so you understand that China is playing key factor in Russia's Ukraine invasion. That's what called areas of common interst. Had India developed by 2010 as good as China then Russia wouldve been more happy to depend on India than China. You had worst leaders which you elected in last 70 years and that's what prevent India growing. It's all your mistake. You cant blame Russia having close ties with China..they need China more than they need India.

Are you born with silver spoon in mouth or what?.go search it. Recently In 2021 even prashant dhavans channel showed the conversation.Wion news also have showed the recorded conversation. It is all there in Google go search and find out before posting all these over reactive comments.
