Afghanistan was a different kettle of fish unlike this one, in Afghanistan it is hard to tackle them because they hide and fight. You cant figh afganistan using the tech you fight in this one Ukraine. Afganistan has been graveyard of empires. Nobody have beaten the afgans inside Afghanistan except one country who? Indians. @hb9145 slight correction = usa bombed afganistan to dust vs Soviet union bombed Afghanistan terror groups + simultaneously constructed schools; hospitals and infrastructure using their own Soviet money. While USA bombed afganistan the afgan childrens were sent to paxtani terror campus to help paxtan army to wage wars against India and did not go to school but while Soviet bombed afganistan childrens went to school and hospitals were functioning = wide difference!☝️😊

USA way of war = close eyes and carpet bomb the whole area just to kill one terrorist vs Russia way of war = open eyes, keep one magnifying glass below a microscope and carefully monitor the civilian population and try best to bomb only over the terrorist and minimize civilian casualties as much as possible = that slightest difference☝️😊

US intervention in Afghanistan Soviet war is the reason Soviets got defeated. Taliban is creation of USA and paxtani alliance to counter Soviet union. In 1989 paxtan helped Taliban take over Afghanistan. Taliban is a paxtan puppet. Once upon a time Taliban were USA puppet. Delegation of "puppet" control over Taliban from USA to paxtan took place after Soviet withdrawal of Afghanistan. So lately Paxtan helped Taliban take over afganistan and kick out their ruling govt in 1989 to promote Islamic allahoakkbarings terrorism inside j&k, ie india . From 1948 till 1989 paxtan economy was higher than India. But ever since Taliban taking over Afghanistan, paxtan's economy started collapsing and today it is doomed. But in 2021 USA leaves afganistan followed by "Salam Taliban songs" sang in paxtan schools colleges mosques madrasha centres etc followed by paxtan's economy again going doomed. @hb9145 Soviet killing civilians of Afghanistan is US version of story alone. They actually bombed only terror groups. Build many infrastructure and childrens were able to go to school while the Soviet forces were bombing the terror groups simultaneously. Nato contributed to afganistan only very very later ie decades later but not during the operation. But Soviets were bombing on one side while afgan child were going to schools the other side. And in addition there is vast difference in burdens while Nato jointly contribution to afganistan's infrastructure vs Soviet union single handedly contribute to Afghanistan's infrastructure. Note the difference too. Bottom line = even if you declare that the Soviets are evil and nazies, a careful evaluation and observation in function of both Russia and USA, one can easily conclude that the Soviets were lesser 👹 and the original bigger 👹 ie usa. 😒
