Peeta Singh Today sikhs have important posts in top govt jobs then how could you think sikhs are treated as second class? . by heart i condemn the sikh riots , congress could do anything they are after-all muslim league. you should watch "operation -blue-star" for details.
First of all know that origin of sikh starts with the hindu traditions... Guru-nanak-ji is in our vedas so it wrong to identify yourself as independent we are all one with different customs but the base is one , i am a tamilian but i see it arbitrary when the tamil govt in TN are using the term " dravidian" when as "Aryan invasion-theory" was proved to be false and as a matter of fact this theory was propounded by british in order to split north and south indians.
Splitting from india will only put you and our other punjabies in a critical stage as on the other side of the border you have an islamic-state that seeks to seize every areas not withstanding the fact they cannot accept another religion with exception to islam...sikhs,hindus and christians are treated even worst suffering a barbaric life in pakistan.
The history we learn't at schools are totally bs, biased and it's creation was solely meant to make indians not realize our glorious history "double game of british" which was subsequently ratified by the congress in india.
It's not just you you suffered the wrath of congress , not to mention the "tamils"...Who killed Rajive-gandhi? it was not LTTE .. LTTE was only apparent on the phase of the record but besides the smoke-screen it was aided by congress in order to contest elections this was also ascertained by some of the indian-army-officials!
So it is high time we need to stand united to vote a responsible Govt..BJP is the only national-party in india who has a dream of a glorious india ..Problem with the hindus, sikhs , jains, parsies were that they were NEVER united since the past that led to several invasions...let us learn from the mistakes and regret it , come over and not commit that same again!
Subramanya-swamy is currently asking all the our community to discard the "Cast-system and class" and stay united.. Sikhs are no-different from hindus we're alll one ....Remember it was a hindu who saved sikhs from the atrocities of the congress riots against the sikhs (Watch operation Blue-Star by BBC for details)
Your concern , our concerns will be addressed... Modi govt raised the issue of Sikh riots recently..Truth will win though the people who are pure by heart will have to suffer initially but that's the rule of life in the Dark ages.. It's not done the whole world are suffering...USA govt was aiding ISIS to kill the christians making it a total holocaust at syria
IF you find hardship in the north , come to south india and see how the sikhs are living in harmony with us.. See don't get away from the problems , face it! The drug issue ? nothing will come your way unless you make an attempt.. Stay united first , remove the negative thoughts elect together the modi govt..lets kick out caste, class and all the crimes... Currently the states in india is running like foreign power independent to that of the center which is dangerous...we need uniform code of law first...To make this happen we need unity.. Problems will not get rid if you run away from it, instead you need to work over it and bend it to your whims! think about it!

Peeta Singh I will now tell you why that even Sikhism is originated from vedas...Vedas gives importance to the term " the im-perishable-Brahman"...this means the entirety in itself OR the wholeness in one in other-words it "Brahman" is collection of both good and bad in one...With exception to "ISLAM" everything are derivatives of vedas because most of the principles mentioned in your quotes are explained in vedas viz:-
1)) """"Body and soul all belong to Him; He is the Support of all."""""
There are some sect in hindusim who accepts Guru as Brahma.. Take for eg "Shanthi-giri-asharam" they practice hinduism but they consider Guru as the eternal source of everything... again such kind of worship is also permitted by vedas and now i see it is same among the sikihism...Look it up if you wish... btw Vedas and upanishads came long long before the advent of Guru-granth or sikihism either-ways, or need i have to prove this?
2) """Gur Parasaadhee Bujheeai Thaa Paaeae Mokh Dhuaar ||
By Guru's Grace, understanding comes, and then the Door of Liberation is found.""""
Vishnava sampradhaya and even shivars has guru for the sake of opening the door of wisdom towards the eternal.. now the principles are one but you see your guru as eternal source opening the wisdom? similarly shivars and vishnavites considers guru as a pre-requisite-condition to wisdom towards-god, plus they also considers guru as equal as god is but not god! in other-words they consider guru as equal to that of god because only a guru has the authority to command god to make him accept the devotion of the guru's disciples... now again my point is the principles are one! make no mistakes about this! therefore Sikihism is also a derivative of vedas holds good!
3) """"Guru Nanak was born in Rai-Bhoi-di Talwandi which is now known as Nankana Sahib in Pakistan. According to today's political geography, Guru Nanak was not born in India but Pakistan. """
PAkisatn was a part of greater-india back in time and so is a portion Hastinapure in afghanistan where there traces of Mahabaratha the great hindu epic...hearts and soul of the gods and goddesses including the Great-Guru-Nanak vests with india because india is teh only place in earth where we are all allowed to practice hindusim , sikihism , jainism in majority, while inm islamic states all are only suffering the onslaughts of the barbaric-sharia!
4) """Unlike Hinduism, Sikhi is a organised monotheist religion. This means that the eternal Guru, Guru Granth Sahib is the only Guru of the Sikh. Unlike Hinduism, Sikhs do not accept and follow any random person who claims to be a Guru.""""
You have the rights to say what you wish because you have only "Zero-knowledge" of what hindusim is, but then we have our rights to believe what we feel is moral... In my view Sikihism is an extract of veda..you need not accept until you go through the facet "Sanathna-Dharma" ...According to you 5+5 =10 , but according to me 5+5 AND 5x2 both are 10..but you will accept only 5+5 =10 and not 5x2=10... but if you go through vedas I'm sure you will laugh at your ideology!
PS. I am not biased nor am i trying to troll you , i'm just trying to make you think in a broader way and indirectly trying to convey a message to read vedas and compare with your Holy book and find out the similarities
5) """ Unlike Hinduism, Sikhs do not accept and follow any random person who claims to be a Guru.""""
Agreed with this point..BUT fake gurus such as today's so called self-proclaimed guru are also not accepted by the hindu-vedic-scriptures... yes! I know what you're trying to convey me i got it! recently some self proclaimed guru got caught in sting-operation in TN...
6) """ਪਵਨ ਅਰੰਭੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮਤਿ ਵੇਲਾ ॥
Pavan Aranbh Sathigur Math Vaelaa ||
From the air came the beginning. This is the age of the True Guru's Teachings.""""
I cannot comprehend the interpretation..what did you mean by this?
7) """The Shabad is the Guru, upon whom I lovingly focus my consciousness; I am the chaylaa, the disciple.""""
Once-again the principles are the same therefore sikihism is derived out of hinduism no doubts!
8) """ਅਕਥ ਕਥਾ ਲੇ ਰਹਉ ਨਿਰਾਲਾ ॥
Akathh Kathhaa Lae Reho Niraalaa ||
Speaking the Unspoken Speech, I remain unattached."""
Same!
9) """"ਨਾਨਕ ਜੁਗਿ ਜੁਗਿ ਗੁਰ ਗੋਪਾਲਾ ॥
Naanak Jug Jug Gur Gopaalaa ||
O Nanak, throughout the ages, the Lord of the World is my Guru"""""
Same as in the case of Shanti-giri-Asharam...the principles are same but it is derived from vedas then they all claim we're independent what a load of BS!
Christianity is no-different..it is a blue print of Lord krishna's-pastimes....if you want me to prove i will prove it here but i will have to type a lot! Any ways ask me if you need how Jesus-Christ tales are similar to Krishna!

Peeta Singh Vedas and Upanishads are pretty vast that one cannot literally pick it up, read it and complete it of-all-in-just-one-life time... There are 4 vedas and each veda is quite profound and vast as the ocean so to complete learning just 1 (one) veda it requires at-least one complete life time..Then what to speak of the authority of even imagining read all the the 4 vedas in this life that's a joke isn't it?...
2) """"Just like the Hindus, Muslims also claim that Sikhi has been derived from Islam. Just like the Hindus they claim that similar concepts are mentioned in the texts of both religions. Obviously if there is one creator then the texts that talk about Waheguru will reassemble to one another. For a Sikh the Vedas, Bible, Quran and Torah may have the partial truth but Guru Granth Sahib is the complete truth"""""
a) The concept of Sikhs talks about Dharma which starts in vedas whereas the none of those abrahamic principles speaks of dharma..... As i mentioned earlier the "goal" is one and the "paths" are diverse in vedas... Guru-Nanak-ji has chose the "Guru-brahma" way of trend from vedas that's it!.. Since the principles mentioned in your religion was way long back found in the vedas it is not un-canny to notice that those words are all nothing but the derivative of the vedas.. and therefore it was always prone to be open to many interpretations and speculations all around in every sect and yes! the chance that the originality got-lost and distorted over a period of time are high! this is why it is important to learn any subject including religion from an authentic master or a spiritual master..
But be warned when i say muslims have no-other intentions other-than monopolizing the whole world , confining it in one direction->"Islam" that's why they claim sikhism is derived out of Islam and not-withstanding it they also said Muhammad was glorified in Vedas , Bible etc ..But on the contrary when i say Sikhism, Jainism, Bhuddhism are all derived out of vedas we are just admitting the fact as it is and which is what one will feel it and see it going through the vedas.....Any religion that came after the vedas dealing with the similar principles are nothing but derivations out of the former...Don't believe me , you be the judge to your conscience and go through it and you will see it's as simple as it is provided one will have to remove that "false-ego-factor" by looking inwards from within-oneself! i cannot change someone nor will they change me unless one is true to them-self and vice-versa!
3) Politics, geo-policies, customs , trend etc may all change to cope-up with time and changes in environment but what is to be noted is the degree of change whether Constructive-changes Or deformative-changes?...When you invade into another territory and to establish your trend into that part subsequently destroy the originality are all mere acts of un-authorized-commitment and this is why that any kind of invasion are not recognized by the international-law because it is all deemed to be un-authorized-commitments and any kinds of un-authorized commitments are all against the morality of the law of the nature so when you say Guru-Nanak was born in Pakistan but not india we all know that pakistan was the resultant of the un-authorized commitments of the Arabs who brought in islam by invasion thus spread by sword-tips which is currently not viable and absurd therefore it is un-ethical to state Guru-Nanak was born in Pakistan but not india even when you talk of Guru-Nanak from the current-stand-point-of-view and i'm therefore sorry to state that i totally re-send all your statements!
