See. For the sake of Truth, im still skeptic about the theory that " the british instigated the caste system concept in india", that is wrong...But im sure that the British certainly "stimulated" the existing caste problem in order to spread Christianity...In South India the System of Caste was in existence long before the british invasion....There are many evidence of Caste system in india by the hindus during the Muslim rule too....In South india "Sree Narayana Guru" who belonged to low caste created an idol of Lord Shiva and he had to tell the upper caste people that it was an idol of the "Lower caste Lord Shiva for Low caste people" ..In this way Sree Narayana-Guru stopped the caste system in South India, not the british.This is truth........But you need to know that the System of Caste in india had sprung up only in the "medieval age" and not during the "Vedic age"....No where in the Gita or 4 vedic text you find the concept of "modern caste" as u find it today.....But there is evidence of foreign invasion that took place long before British..We all know India was ruled for 1000 years by the Foreign rulers..British ruled for 200 years but long before brits we were ruled by Islam , Europeans, Portuguese, French , Syria , Dutch and the list goes on...This happened in medieval age....System of caste definitely was brought into india "post-invasion" during these 1000 years, not preinvasion......

See first of all, the congress govt came to power after they took oath to hindus that during their power they would support an hindu cultural law, but instead of following what they promised, they hunted and shot down to death all the "Sanyasiies" who stood before the parliament who took part in peaceful-strike as laid down by the constitution..So the Law which is followed in india now is not the hindu system of law. There is no evidence of Rape in india during the preinvasion invasion era, there better peace than during the foreign invasion era...Moreover the idea of woman in hindu scriptures itself has respect in its own way that the woman were treated like "Mother"....You will find Marathas all treated woman and childrens well and also there was no discrimination against the working class of people too....Now ur attacking the brahmins..How do u know that brahmins raped the dailts? .....The duty of brahmin was to enlighten all mankind about god head and bring all mankind into Brahminical-varna...Brahmin was not by birth but by educational qualification....Even a Shudhra could become a brahmin but this system was perverted somehow in the "Medieval age"...Brahmins raping dalits is "political thought" ( biased), so you cannot target the hindu school of thought.....Not to mention rapes were at the peak during the Congress.
