Here's a thought - start the ball rolling by putting solar panels on school roofs. The power gathered can be used by the school, and any excess (like what's gathered on weekends and during holidays) can be fed back into the local grid. Also, school kids can get involved with the installation, learn about the technology, and become advocates for it as they get older.

NZ's 'native' variety of sweet potato - the kumara - is massively popular here. We don't add extra sweeteners to them as it's tradition for them to be buried, or stored, after harvesting so they can naturally sweeten on their own. They're fantastic when roasted, but even better when used to make thick fries.

Potentially forever as long as a culture has a way or either recording or passing on an event. There is a theory that the Noah flood story is based on actual events which occurred (in a less drastic fashion) in ancient Mesopotamia.

@HaloHighlightz when you consider how many people work with cattle on a daily basis, how many people encounter cattle without knowing how to act around them, the average size of cattle herds, and the surprisingly low number of fatal shark attacks, it makes sense.
