  1. India has already laid sights on Gripen but this jet is not just made by Saab. In an event of war, India might not get the critical components from various countries who have supplied them. For eg, the engine is American GE, If we go to war with katoristan, America will block the engine supply & we'll be left hanging. just look at our Sukhois, we ran after the Russians to upgrade them but they were too busy so we are going to upgrade to super Sukhoi on our own.
