@iam-riya welcome, one more thing!! Gripen has only one engine while Rafale has twin engines. That's why India went for Rafale. Also Rafale had defeated the most advanced fifth gen American F-22 in 2009 Emirates exercise

It's an 80s fighter which had several delays & setbacks. It's hardly operated by anyone & even Swedish airforce is buying F-35 instead of Gripen from their manufacturing company Saab It's boasted to have capabilities like Rafale but no one knows much

@tony18662 The latest instance of Gripen’s failure was in July when the Czech Republic opted to buy 24 F-35 fighter jets, turning down the Gripen E offered by Sweden, even though the Czech military already operates 14 Gripen C/D jets acquired from Sweden on a lease that is due to end in 2027. “Our decision to select this option is based on the analysis by the Czech Armed Forces, which clearly articulates that only the most advanced 5th-generation fighters will be able to meet mission requirements in future battlefields,” Jana Černochová, the Czech Defense Minister, said. Before the Czech Republic, Canada and Finland opted for the F-35 over Saab Gripen.

@tony18662 the new Swedish-made Saab Gripen is priced at $85 million per unit, making the Lockheed Martin product more convenient and within the Air Force’s reach. It's even stated that, depending on the negotiations, the unit prices of the F-35 can be reduced to a little more than 70 million dollars each

@tony18662 What about the powerplant? Remember that a jet with higher power can divert them to electronic countermeasures thus making the jet with higher power more effective in electronic warfare

@tony18662 In both active & passive stealth capabilities, Gripen is nowhere near F-35. Gripen doesn't have internal weapons bay & also it has frontal canards which can easily reflect radar waves back to the source. Also compare the RCS of both Gripen & F-35
