Speaking as a Brit who likes Churchill, I understand he was complex, made huge errors and whatever, and the same could be said of FDR, though Stalin was an out and out pig and bully.

Churchill despised Stalin, was cautious around him, and wanted to subdue Soviet influence, but lost the 1945 election to that Communist luvvie, Clem Attlee who, in Churchill's worst was " a ver" modest man, with much to be modest about". Attlee then sucked up to Stalin. Britain is still paying for voting that fool in, but there is a lesson there: democracy doesn't always mean your guy wins.

A prolonged jet-fuel fire could easily weaken the structure of a building where the bulk of the strength came from the steel outer construction. Bear in mind that atheists often conduct themselves on a manner that is religious in style, albeit without a deity.   50. The naval tradition, used by many countries, of re-using names from previous vessels is a fascinationg one. While Enterprise popularly claimed as an American name for a vessel, it was being used by the French and British before the Americans, and has been used by the Royal Navy, and still is.
