  2.  @johnnygreenface  Not quite true, US units of volume, such as pints and gallons, differ from UK Imp. versions. There are some minor differences in some units of length and weight too. I know the volume one because I like beer, and a British pint glass is larger than a US one. Also mpg fuel consumption figures differ in British publications due to the difference in what we consider to be a gallon.
