You are onto something that a lot of people don't realise: Moses is an Egyptian name, which should be obvious, given his history, whether you believe the Jewish or Christian traditions or not. As to the familial link, adoptive or otherwise, I really don't know.

@angelitabecerra Actually the chariot theory seems unlikely too, given his physical deformities, not least a club-foot. It has been examined at length. Current theories suggest a number if causes for his death that exclude both murder and the chariot accident, backed up by an increased amount of evidence from his health issues. That bloke must have been pretty uncomfortable for most of his short life.

True, though the distinction escapes many people. The scripts are written by an American team, and I have noticed that accuracy seems greater when it comes to the US, and Americans than it is with non-American people and places.

Akenhaten disproves your point. His unorthodox reign was treated with even greater attempts at erasure than Hatsepchut's was, both at the time, and by modern historians.
