  2. Well not really, that would have been tbe prior Islamic invasions. For some reason those brutal expansions of Islam are ignored or excused.

  3. It is yet another case where literature replaced the facts as history. Not surprising is the number of British and Americans who think that Robin Hood was a real person, and the characterisations in the stories were true reflections of who they really were.
